Great Reasons to Hire Clowns



Clowns have been around for centuries. Jesters and jokers, they are all considered to be the same as today’s clown. Maybe we think of them just a bit differently, but they serve the same need that people have had since the beginning of time; to laugh and feel good about themselvesselves. Some may have an issue or two about clowns but when you need to feel a little different then usual there is always a person(s) that you can go to, a clown. If, however, you happen to be a bit stiff on the subject, think about the few times these circumstances have shown up in your life (even if a clown wasn’t around.)

A welcome distraction

A children’s party is always a fun event for a child of any age. They run and play, scream and shout about who knows what. You, as a parent, have been to how many birthday parties? Three in one weekend perhaps? Hiring clowns is a great way of bringing down the decibel level a notch or two. Hopefully there will be laughing and yelling, but not at the constant roar that you may usually be accustom to. Clowns are a good way to wrangle-up a group of party going kids and calm them to a manageable level before the next sugar rush shows up.

Permission to laugh

In today’s world, adults sometimes feel that having a sense of whimsy is a sign of weakness. They have become jaded with all the events that the world throws at them all day every day. Clowns are a wonderful thing when the world starts to get you down. The mere fact that a clown is in the same relative space with you means that you are immediately given the right to laugh. Outside of the fact that laughing is considered healthy for you (20 sec. laugh=  200 yd. sprint), it changes your perspective on things. Just because the children appear to be having all the fun doesn’t mean that you can’t get in on the act.

Good entertainment

Face it; if a clown is good at what they do they are good entertainment. There are many kinds of clowns and there is likely one for you or your function. A good clown will make you wonder why you didn’t learn to juggle or pull a joke. Any way you scratch it clowns provide a sense of fun and entertainment.

Something different

Going through your day, everything can start to blur together as the same. The birthday parties all follow the same formula, soccer parties are all the same. A clown, however, is a bit different. Not the same old clown though. Look for a unique clown to make your event stand out. Sure they may say “oh yea, another clown” but what if this clown stood out as something different. A good clown is worth his weight in gold.

Clowns make you feel good

Clowns are like a good run in the park or a satisfying project completed. You watch and listen and when they are done you just feel good. The body’s chemicals have flowed and you just feel good. The children feel good and everybody that saw them feels good. If you want to feel good just hire a few clowns.
