Using A Corporate Magician

Corporate magician’s a very unique way to bring life to you company meetings and planning sessions.  We all know how seminars and training sessions can drone on and on.  In order to keep your employees engaged you have to stimulate their minds and allow them to have a bit of fun.  By using a corporate magician, you can easily do this.

Trade shows are a great way to promote your companies products and services.  Instead of setting up a booth that people stop and browse at in passing, try something different and hire a corporate magician to work the both in conjunction with your employees.  Look for one that will help you promote your company by having them pass out unique registration cards for demographic information on your visitors.  Corporate magicians can also help you pass out custom giveaways that are actually easy to perform magic tricks.  If the magician is good enough, maybe they can even make your entire booth disappear.  Make sure that the corporate magician you use will train the booth staff that will be working with them on how the performance will go and how they can help the magician build and work the crowd.

No matter what kind of function you have, corporate magicians will make everyone leave the event feeling good.  You will want to look for one that will make sure you employees and their guests are having a good time and not fooling or embarrassing them.  A good magician will work his or her act into your event schedule and if your event allows them to mingle and work close up to the guests, they will save you the hassle of needing a stage.  When you hire your magician, check all their testimonials, and see if they are a member of a professional magic association.

There are three main types of corporate magicians that you can hire.  Mingling magicians are great ice-breakers at events, especially if there is a social hour before a dinner or presentation.  They will perform slight of hand tricks with different props and groups will form around them in fascination.  Tableside magicians will move from table to table performing tricks for your guests while they are seated.  These magicians are great for entertainment between courses and before or after the meal.  You might want to consider feeding your corporate tableside magician.  He or she might get a bit hungry.

Traditional stand-up magicians make up the third category and if you have a stage available, this may be the type of magician you may want to hire.    Unfortunately, they are the hardest ones to also incorporate into your planned event.  You will need to work with the traditional corporate magician to make sure their performance suits the event, has enough time to be done, and account for any set up or break down of equipment.  There is also lighting considerations to be taken into account.  If you plan your event with enough time beforehand, you can easily work a traditional magician into the event.

Corporate magicians are a great way to bring continuity to your event and to help pass the time between event sections, such as waiting for a guest speaker to arrive, meals to be served, or the social hour to end.  The next time you need entertainment for your professional event, consider hiring a corporate magician.
