School holidays often present a challenge for working parents. For the working parent they need to juggle childcare and work with the demands of heir most precious possessions.  School holidays and special events such as the end of school are the most popular times for family entertainers. A firm favourite with family entertainers is face painting. Face painting can be a parent’s nightmare.  The thought of paint smearing beyond the face and over clothes, hands and anything kids touch can be overwhelming.  Kids are mesmerised with the sensation of the paint on their face, the fairy or artists painting them and the eventual final result. Animals tend to be popular choices with many tiny lions and tigers running around the fair ground.

Events such as a trip to the Circus are a wonderful treat for children and the home of family entertainers, with entire families being Circus performers. Clowns play a large role in the circus their comical performances ensure that laughter is throughout the big top. 

If you go to the video shop there are rows upon rows of family entertainment DVDs.  This medium is a popular way for family entertainers and kids entertainers alike to reach a wide audience.  Film companies will often create multiple DVDs across a variety of series, much like a TV show to ensure that there are many episodes of the most popular family entertainers.
