Tips To Planning Your Magic Corporate Entertainment

When you are planning an event, especially one that involves magic corporate entertainment, you want it to be as smooth and hassle-free as you can possibly make it.  To make you life easier, there are some tips that you can follow to make sure it goes off with at hitch.  Your magic corporate entertainment package does not have to drive you nuts.

Probably the first thing you need to consider is the type of magic corporate entertainment event you are having.  Most companies plan an event like this to thank their employees for their achievements, account celebrations, to improve relationships with existing clients, gain new clients, launch a new product or service, thank customers for their business, or to simply raise the company’s image.  Make sure you leave yourself plenty of time to plan the event.  You should start around three to six months before the event in order to plan it properly, fix any unforeseen problems, and book your corporate magician.

Your boss will want to see your plans for the magic corporate entertainment package you have put together.  In order to present the most comprehensive package possible, stop and consider a few questions.  What is the goal of the vent?  Do you want to have a theme?  How big is your budget if you have one?  What other entertainment do you need besides a magician?  Do you need someone to assist you in the planning?  Who are inviting – employees only or employees and their families?  Once you have the answers to these questions, your package will come together more quickly.

Once you have approval for your magic corporate entertainment event, you are going to want to arrange the venue and the seating.  Believe it or not, seating is important because if you do not leave enough room for the attendees to be comfortable, you are going to have miserable guests.  Make sure you take into consideration the size of the tables that are going to be available and how many each table seats and layout the arrangements accordingly.  Always take into account room for the wait staff and your magician to move between the guests and their seats.

In order for your magic corporate entertainment event to be successful, make sure you have the right magician.  Check out their credentials, talk to them to find out what services they offer, how long their performance is, and make sure they will interact accordingly with your employees so everyone has an enjoyable time.  Ask for testimonials and references from other corporations in which they performed.  Professional magicians will provide these to you quickly and without question.  If possible, ask the magician if they will audition for you so you can a feel of what they are like.   If the event is family oriented make sure the magician is able to move easily between age groups while entertaining.

One very big thing to keep in mind when planning a magic corporate entertainment event is to remember to have a backup plan in place if your original event is supposed to take place outside.  The weathers can change in the blink of an eye and the last you thing you want is to not have someplace to go if it starts to rain.  That would put a really big damper on your magic corporate entertainment event if that happens.
